Travel Consultants

Nerina Sarluis

An avid collector of frogs, and affectionately known in the office and among some clients alike as Froggie, is one of our founder members in 1997. She has many years of travel experience, and presently deals with all aspects of international travel, but concentrating primarily on the Americas and the East. Due to her knowledgeable, excellent service, she is a previous Stratus winner. The numerous letters from her satisfied clients testify to the exceptional relationship she maintains with them.

Tessa Hattingh

Her travel related experience goes back to 1979, resulting in her becoming a household name among clients. But for a few years she left the travel business, and travelled abroad, with Greece her destination of choice. Hence, if you want her attention, shout out “Ella”, a Greek word of many meanings, but one to sure get her interest. Tessa’s main responsibilities at the moment are active contact with clients and service providers, specialised leisure travel abroad, and ensuring quality service from our Agency.

Melanie Hay

Moving at the beginning of 2007 from Pretoria, where she managed a campus branch of Sure Glenwood Travel, still seems to have divided rugby loyalties! We say “Cheetahs rule!”, and time to move on, Mel. She specializes in international leisure travel to Croatia. She is dedicated to her client’s needs, with a specific compassion for the elderly traveller, and understands the demands of the changed environment of our industry.

Lizelle van den Heever

Lizelle joined us in March 2007. She completed her diploma in Travel and Tourism at the Central University of Technology (CUT) in Bloemfontein in 2002, afterwards worked for the Sure Group for a period of 4 years, gaining vast experience in youth travel. At the moment she deals with our international and corporate clients, and also assists with our youth travel and cruises, with the Indian Ocean Islands as her speciality.

Yolandé Coetzee

Landie, our “Jungle Bush Girl” is a specialist in overland travel in Eastern and Southern Africa, living and working for a few years in these regions, hence the familiarity of her name! She therefore assists with regional and over border itineraries into Africa, and tour operator’s packages. But, having obtained a degree in Tourism Management from the Central University of Technology (CUT) in 2003 she deals with our corporate clients and also assists in other fields, such as specialised travels to the Middle and Far East.

Good leaders encourage followers
to tell what they need to know
not what they want to hear.

Customer Service

Christa Conlon

The first person welcoming our clients is Christa, the friendly and efficient receptionist manning our front desk. She joined our former sister company, an architect's practice, in 1993 as a PA and receptionist. Through her enthusiasm she soon also became indispensable at other levels. Today she is a treasure of note, especially by compiling specialized and detailed itineraries for clients on overseas trips.

Madelize Matthews

Madelize, who holds a CA (SA) qualification, was previously on a part-time basis involved with the financial department of our agency. However, due to our steady growth, she was permanently appointed since the beginning of 2008. As financial manager she manages and controls our financial planning expertly, and due to her grasp of the intricacies of the travel industry, she forms an integral part of our closely-knit team.

Lizelle Mouton

After obtaining her qualification in Travel and Tourism from the Central university of Technology (CUT) in Bloemfontein, Lizelle broadened her horizons by doing au pair work in the USA for more than a year. She then joined Flight Centre, after which she was responsible for the office of Sure Youth Travel in Bloemfontein. After joining us at the beginning of 2008, she assisted with marketing and various administrative matters. She has now joined Madelize in the financial department.
